Best Exercises to help you reach your goals
If you are reading this article, that is telling me you are not happy with your exercise routine, or maybe you are new to the health and fitness world and do NOT where to even start. This blog is dedicated to all the wonderful people who have been flooding my e-mail asking me what the best workout is to reach goals. Well, only you can decide that for you. But I will be here to guide you every step of the way.
Allow me to shed some light on the answers to the best exercises to help you reach your goals.
How about this answer!
THE ONE YOU STICK WITH is the one that works
Easier said than done, right? This may sound blunt or even a little harsh, or maybe you are reading this saying duh. It is a very vague answer. But now, are your wondering why you can’t I stick to a program or schedule?
Maybe you are….
New to working out? Or possibly in a funk and cannot figure out what is the best exercise to help you reach your goals because you cannot find something for you.
Where do you begin, who do you call, do u buy a treadmill and possibly hate it, do you get a gym membership but do not know how to use it, personal trainer, in home DVD….AHH so many options and in your head you may be saying to yourself, I am so lost!!! Never mind, maybe I will just wait. DO NOT let this frustrate you. We all have been there!
There are so many different workouts on the market right now. Multiple different gyms and fitness centers seem to be popping up everywhere. There is a big possibility, gyms are still closed or not even opening again. How do you pick the best gym or stay at home program best for you and not best for someone else? These are all amazing questions and I am that girl that will help you find what works best for you!
Obviously, we need to do our due diligence and spend some time planning and researching. Let me share how I found a way to stay active 5 to 6 days a week for the last 7 years even during quarantine.
I can honestly say that I love the experiences of trying new exercises and activities indoors and out. I was not always that girl. Of-course I always do research, talk to my friends and data collect and make a schedule of what my workouts will be week to week. I respect the value of my peers and sharing their experiences with me when it comes to how they stay healthy and fit. But what works for your BFF may not work for you. AND THAT IS OKAY!!! Do what is best for you, if you hate going to the gym, do not go! If you do not like dancing, then dance aerobics is not for you. I hate burpees, but I love jumping jacks. Lunges hurt my knees, but I love Pilates. I do not like spin class, but I love Drum-Late` and Urban Kick. How did I figure that out? I did them. It does not mean that any one of those programs is better than the other. It truly is about your preference. You are reading about a girl who continually gave up all the time, the one with excuses after excuses, until one day. I stopped making excuses and I kept trying new things. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!!!
Starting a workout program does not necessarily mean that you have to pick just one thing to make to change or make your body feel good, you may like purely aerobics, maybe you are the walker, the runner or biker. You will never know what will strike your mind as your very own new hobby, lifestyle, and basically the new part of you. When I say the new part of you. What I mean is you found it! Let me help you find a new part of you!
Here are some of the best ways to find the work out best for you.
Most important, you must want this, for you!
All exercises work if you stick them to achieve your goals.
It is NOT, let me say this again, IT IS NOT about what programs you use, it is about getting your mind in shape, YOU MUST WANT THIS! Discipline and dedications are super important. You may be tired, you may be busy, you may cry, but when you surpass all these bumps in the road, it will get easier with time! It will turn into second nature; you will not even realize you are working out. How will know if you do not like it if you do not try it?
Do what makes you feel good, not what your peers are telling you what will make you feel good.
It is hard work and work should be fun that is why you should love what you are doing.
Try, Try, Try again!
Make sure if you are putting time into working on the shape of your body, you are eating healthy and clean foods. (listen to my Cheeseburger is Paradise podcast @ Low Carb High Life) on Spotify and Anchor.
Seek support from a personal trainer, coach, family, and friends. It is okay to ask for help. I cannot tell you how many times I went to my husband asking him for a little extra push. Find you person to give you that extra nudge.
Loving yourself and knowing you are worth it making the time to invest into yourself and your health.
You oversee your life, you are the one that must get off the couch and move, no one can make you. Do not just work out to work out, workout for a reason, workout because you love you, workout because you love your family, workout because if makes you feel better, for motivation, to be healthier, and most importantly because you deserve to live your best life.
